A note for my study programme

Hello everyone, it's Alexis again. In this time, the last time I meant. This last blog it's about my undergraduate study programme.
As I was able to see trough the years, there are many things that have changed in the curriculum of the undergraduate programme of chemistry and pharmacy. Time ago there were subjects like anatomy and botany. Now, those subjects doesn't exist any longer, at least not anatomy. Botany particularly, is still in the curriculum, but now it's called botany and pharmacognosy, and integrates the contents of two subjects in only one.

For now, I have no qualms with college subjects. Not at least, with something related to the subjects, but yes, with the workload, which I consider to be poorly distributed, with subjects that are really a neck-and-tie attack on our mental health.

Also, I consider that the length of 11 semesters is too long. A degree should not last more than 10 semesters, and counting the final degree activity, so I would make some changes to these points.
Going to another shot, specifically to the facilities of the faculty, it has several good and bad points. Within the good, I can highlight the laboratory infrastructure, in a very general way, and the presence of green areas. However, this is not enough when it comes to having minimums that guarantee safe spaces for students. Said that, when it rains we have nowhere to be, that's all.

Regarding the use of technological tools, I believe that significant progress has been made, incorporating new technologies both for learning and for the development of the courses.
Finally, I believe that the teaching methods are specific to each teacher, so I would only sometimes ask for more empathy, understanding that they are training students, not doctors.

Apparently, making this blog I only dedicated myself to highlighting how bad the career and the university are. I suppose that with time oneself begins to romanticize the gaps in coverage and shortcomings, and make them one's own, as a typical Chilean. However, and despite everything mentioned, these tools are enough to train great professionals.
